Purpose: To be able to use categorical predictor variables in the BMA implementation.

Many thanks!

This is definitely on our to-do list. However, our current backend for Bayesian linear regression, the R package BAS, doesn't properly support this yet. We are working on this together with the maintainer of the BAS package. In the meantime, you could also do an ANCOVA, which should yield the same results and does allow you to use both categorical and continuous predictors.

Hi team. I was wondering if there might be any scope to implement this. I noticed that the more recent Bayesian logistic regression model (presumably based on BAS) has implemented factors as predictors.

Many thanks!

@vandenman
any idea if this is feasible in the near term?
