Version 4.8 aka Rushed compatibility

  • Bugfix: Check that range is a string to avoid a crash (Dan Brown)
  • Bugfix: Fix range calculation for spells with new system calculation
  • Feature: Taking advantage of the above, warn when a spell is cast over range.

Version 4.7 aka little small things.

  • Defaults: Change default ROF to 1 (only for new worlds)

  • Cards: Added a setting to show shots and powerpoints in the card.
  • Bugfix: Make sure that APMod is an int.
  • Dependencies: Updated tailwind to 3.3.3
  • Cards: Now incapacitated tokens don't count for gangup

Version 4.2 aka little things.

  • Bugfix: Add min_with to header icons to avoid stretching when there are long skill or item names.
  • Refactoring: Make the header css simpler.
  • Griddles: Make the distance calculation used to use parry as tn for a shot use the melee distance setting (only useful when playing gridless)
  • Bugfix: Resist rolls now support trait modifiers.

Version 4.1 aka v12 expected bug-fixing

  • Compatibility: Remove lots of warnings and old uses of data (should fix some bugs also).
  • Bug: Solve an icon misalignment in the vehicle sheet.
  • Bugfix: Make modifiers with dice value work again (there can be some places left where it doesn't).

Version 3.78 aka bye, bye v11

  • Bugfix: Fixed a bug that caused macros executed via item actions not getting the proper token and actor. (SalieriC).
  • Actions: Add the new selector module is not active
  • Cards: Added a failsafe in case token is not selected (SalieriC)
  • Bugfix: Item actions that override a trait with an attribute are working again.

Version 3.77 aka the little one

  • Refactoring: Lots of small changes to make the code simpler, that I hope don't break anything.
  • Translations: A big update from Razortide to the german translation.
  • Bugfix: Better gangup calculation with bigger sizes

Version 3.76 aka Yes, I skipped a number.

  • Bugfix: Add an id override so that item actions have a stable id (and can be saved) (Dan Brown).
  • Refactoring: Make modifiers a class, nothing should break yet, but it will.
  • Cards: Add a setting to add a popout button to the cards.

Version 3.74 aka Saving comes to TTRPGs!!

  • Translations: More translations from the Weblate team (gallegonovato)
  • Cards: Tooltip delay increased to 1 second to avoid accidentally showing it.
  • Refactor: The BrCard class has been moved to its own file (dev only)
  • Cards: Add a button to save a card to a macro. Not only saves the card, it also saves the current action selection (Dan Brown)
  • Conditions: Add support for the new Defeated condition in the system (Dan Brown)
  • Bugfix: Don't let gaps in the modifiers array when deleting elements (this should allow you to reroll after deleting a modifier and probably solve more bugs related to it)

Version 3.72 aka prelude to a bug-fixing week.

  • Actions: Added range_less_then selector.
  • CSS, everywhere: Configure Tailwind to generate CSS with a prefix. It should solve some issues with other modules (notably item piles) but risk breaking everything.
  • Cards: Use white underlined text instead of red text for penalties to achieve better legibility.
  • Translations: German translations updated using the new Weblate (Max Hilbrunner)

Version 3.71 aka another small bugfix

  • Bugfix: Don't break while rolling items with an attribute set as its trait.

Version 3.70 aka small bugfix

  • Bugfix: Edges and hindrances show a card again.

Version 3.69 aka version 3.3 ready, well, hopefully

  • Sheets: Clicks on item should works on 3.3
  • Sheets: Send to chat button works on 3.3
  • Refactor: Use name instead of label for active effects
  • Refactor: Force the unshake bonus into an integer to avoid some possible problems
  • Hindrances: Use the new 3.3-system way to determine whenever a hindrance is major or minor.
  • Cards: Add support for the globalMods.bennyTrait and Damage.

  • Cards: Added a client setting to popup better rolls cards automatically (Ideas and things that work DDBrown, modification that give problems myself)
  • Bug: Enforce tooltip limit on skill description in weapon cards.

Version 3.67 aka Two bugfixes so nobody notices the minor redesign

  • Bug: Called shot locations leg and arm were broken (BlackCloud010)
  • Cards: Damage card updated? to the redesign style
  • Bug: Now a skill will be considered 'shooting' if it just includes that work or its translation

Version 3.66 aka So someone is using vehicles out there..

  • Bug: Fixed vehicle targeting.

Version 3.65 aka It was really slick you heartless users...

  • Cards: Change strikethrough color over dice to white for better visibility.
  • Docs: Big update of API docs.
  • Cards: Add a generic weapon info to the description tooltip, showing damage, ap and shoots.
  • API: Fire a hook after a card is rendered.
  • Actions: Add a disable_if_module_present selector
  • Refactoring: Some small refactoring, with includes moving up the damage data from render_data to the card class properties. CAN BREAK MACROS/MODULES.
  • Actions: Active effects that create a global damage mod are now treated as actions.
  • Cards: Remove the bounce animation when rolls exploded.

  • Cards: Change the CSS overflow properties for card titles, hopefully removing the scrollbars that sometime appeared

  • Bugfix: Error when applying an effect to self when rolling damage.

Version 3.56 aka Single groups galore

  • Builtin actions: Make illumination, multi-actions, desperate action and called shots a single choice (Steve Culshaw)
  • Actions: Run macros from Uuid (helps with new item macros)
  • Refactoring: Avoid some type coercions in comparisons that could give problems

  • Cards: Added single option card groups, they only allow one option of the group to be selected.
  • Card actions: Cover now is a single option group
  • Bugfix: Refactor of the condition adding and updating code as new swade version broke it.

  • Drag and drop: Make attribute drag and drop work with SWADE 3.2

Version 3.53 aka Steve did much more than me this time

  • NOTE: THIS VERSION IS NOT SWADE 3.2 compatible.
  • Global actions: Lots of power modifiers: Havoc, Healing, Relief, Shape Change, Entangle, Boost/Lower Trait, Arcane Protection, Sanctuary, Environmental Protection, Beast Friend, Wall Walker, Summon Ally (Steve Culshaw)
  • Grammar: Lots of grammar fixes all around (Steve Culshaw)
  • Bugfix: PP are now deducted when auto-rolling a power.
  • Char cards: Padding reduced in template buttons hoping they look better
  • Power points: Add a Foundry warning in addition to card warning when a power is rolled and the character has not enough power points.
  • Bugfix: Powers with 0 PP value now trigger power-point workflow. That way actions can change that 0 into something else.
  • Manifest: Updated Foundry verified version.

Version 3.52 aka A small one

  • Documentation: Better notes for default checked (Steve Culshaw)
  • Actions: Added actions for sweep and novice powers (Steve Culshaw)
  • Actions: Add the item_value selector that lets you use an arbitrary value from an item
  • Refactoring: New bugs added, I mean, simpler and better code in item_cards.js
  • Chat modifiers: Change the select sequence to white->red->none

Version 3.51 aka too stable?

  • Bugfix: Frenzy edge was not translatable.
  • Documentation: Update the documentation to use the new action dialog (Steve Culshaw).
  • Feature: Item description tooltip gets now a configurable maximum length (500 characters by default, set to 0 to disable the tooltip)
  • Refactoring: Code simplifications for skill cards (look for new bugs here)
  • Feature: Added actions for the generic power modifiers (Steve Culshaw and again Bruno Calado but doesn't know)

Version 3.50 aka Nothing to see here, this version doesn't exist, it is only in your imagination

  • Bugfix: Rolling for actors without tokens working again (but I never broke that, it must be your imagination)

Version 3.49 aka Bugfixes galore

  • Bugfix: Make the code that tries to find the translation for skills that appear in actions better.
  • Bugfix: Damage overriding actions now show the damage icon (DDBrown)
  • Bugfix: Gitignore works again for those poor people forced to use VSCode. (Poor DDBrown)
  • Bugfix: Item and Active Effect actions are now ordered by name, as if was random generated (DDBrown)
  • Bugfix: Check that damage is only roll once for "default target". This should solve the Monks plus Warpgate mystery bug.

Version 3.48 aka no, still not solved the Monks bug

  • Bugfix: Spelling and grammar errors. (Steve Culshaw)
  • Refactoring: .gitignore has been made simpler.
  • Refactoring: Simplify a lot the code for attribute rolling.
  • Feature: Active effects that affect a roll appear now as actions.
  • Feature: Add an option in settings to show the card and the action selection window on a click or a key plus click.
  • Evil feature removal: Footers are gone. Cards look better. You have less info at a glance.
  • Bugfix: Make the "Trait die" string translatable.
  • Bugfix: Make tnOverride work again
  • Feature: Add actions for Desperate Attack (Bruno Calado, but he doesn't know yet. Again. Yes more shameless stealing from his module)
  • Feature: Support the damage override field in the action tabs of items.
  • Refactoring: Simplify card creation.

Version 3.47 aka

  • Builtin actions: Updated Improved Frenzy to the last SWADE version (Bruno Calado)
  • Feature: Support for the damage and trait modifiers fields on the item sheet.
  • Bugfix: Don't access appliedEffects as a function when checking for actions.
  • Refactoring: Some code simplifications and removals of dead code
  • Refactoring: Remove the now unused setting to collapse actions in cards

Version 3.46 aka ... still new but each day less buggy

  • Refactoring: Removing lots of code that is not used with the new cards. Lots more of restructuring. All of that can create bugs, but I hope it will make the code more maintainable.
  • Documentation: Better docs for the modifier row (Steve Culshaw)
  • Actions: Enabled active effects are now shown as actions
  • Bugfix: Solved a problem with type casting on gangup calculations that can lead to bugs.
  • Bugfix: Test for effects transferred from items in lots of places, including gangup reduction.
  • Cards: When an item has no trait defined, but owns an action that has one, use it for rolling

Version 3.45 aka ... buggy

  • Optional rules: Add a setting for not applying encumbrance to NPCs.
  • Bugfix: Use translations strings again for cover actions
  • Refactoring: Move actions related to background edges to its own file
  • Cards: Use icons and margins in the action display of the card.
  • Bugfix: Get success detection working again for power-point deduction and auto damage rolling.
  • Bugfix: Soaking correctly works for actors that ignore wounds.

Version 3.44 aka ... buggy Girl

  • Bugfix: Item actions should be working again.

Version 3.43 aka Sexy Girl

  • Manifest: Update verified Foundry version to 11.308
  • Feature: Remove the tokenbar redraw feature as it is likely not used.
  • Cards: Part 1 of the redesign projects gets life. Either enjoy or hate it.

Version 3.42 aka System wait there

  • Feature: Added a setting to use the system injury table. Note that this enables you to use any table as you can configure it in system. Also note that this will not give actors active effects for the injury
  • Bugfix: Ordering of active actions is working now.
  • Code: Lots of cleans, starting using prettier with default options to forget about code style.
  • Feature: Range modifiers are updated when targets are changed.
  • Feature: When there is no token targeted, and you roll damage, if the trait roll has a target BR will use it.
  • Manifest: Add Swade Tools as a conflict in the manifest.
  • Compatibility: Add compatibility with Swade 3.1.x
  • Actions: Update cover actions, so they also show on powers (Bruno Calado)
  • Feature: Add support for the new flags on SWADE 3.1 (ambidextrous, hardy and ignoreBleedOut)
  • Actions: Are add actions to expend extra power points when using a power (Bruno Calado but he probably still doesn't know)

Version 3.41 aka ejem

  • Bugfix: Check that extreme range is true to avoid triggering it when range is not calculable.

Version 3.40 aka Well, it is starting to get a little annoying

  • Bugfix: Get ammo management working again
  • Feature: Added support for extreme ranger, now attacks over four times the largest range should get a -999 modifier.

Version 3.39 aka I told you again

  • Bugfix: Duplicating a card now deletes damage rolls
  • Feature: Added support for Unarmored Hero in system settings.

Version 3.38 aka I told you

  • Manifest: Updated verified Foundry version to 11.307
  • Bugfix: Get card duplication working again
  • Bugfix: Discounts PP calculate results correctly now
  • Bugfix: Adding a fixed damage works again

Version 3.37 aka solving or creating bugs

  • Feature: Added improved frenzy matching new rules version (DDBrown)
  • Bugfix/Refactoring: Fixed an issue that prevented editing players rolls by the DM. This has created a big refactoring about rolls.
  • Refactoring: Reduce object creation/deletion
  • Feature: Support for Wild Die Themes
  • Refactoring: The big bugfix has made me do a lot of minor refactoring, check the git log for more info.

Version 3.36 aka How would expect another bugfix release

  • Refactoring: Minor coding style fixings
  • Actions: Order actions by id inside they group in the card
  • Actions: Use the above feature to change the light actions order
  • Refactoring: Store targets in the card object
  • Bugfix: Rework toughness calculation for called shots.

Version 3.35 aka is really bugfixing fun?

  • Bugfix: Expenditure of ammunition for high ROF was not calculated correctly when using system management.
  • Bugfix: Remove the auto damage die modifier from Martial Artist and Martial Warrior as it was causing issues when multiple edges are updating unarmed damage size. Also this should be probably better if done via Active Effect. (DDBrown)

Version 3.34 aka the bug that has me made this release was also older, nothing from 3.30, I still promise

  • Global actions: Add the selector (item_has_damage) (DDBrown)
  • Global actions: Add an action that modifies the AP 'apMod' (DDBrown)
  • Refactoring: Some functions names didn't really make sense now.
  • Minor: Updated Foundry verified version.
  • Refactoring: Remove warning caused by access to #label on an active effect
  • Global actions: Support for the change_location word action
  • Built-in actions: Leveraging above feature called shot now use the armor from the location
  • Bugfix: Active effects that give bonuses on attribute rolls where being ignored.

Version 3.33 aka that bug was introduced before 3.32, I promise

  • Power points: Added a setting option so that innate powers don't spend power points
  • World actions: Added 'actor_has_item' and 'actor_equips_item' selectors
  • Bugfix: Active effects that modify encumbrance also remove damage penalties for low strength

Version 3.32 aka Time to introduce new bugs

  • Refactoring: New roll classes introduced, they are still not used.
  • Wil die: Respect Wild Die theme in another browser.
  • Cards: Use system cards for consumables
  • Bugfix: Use again the actor name, not the player's in cards.
  • Refactor: Reduce the parameter count of discount_pp
  • Bugfix: When selecting an old roll recalculate power point usage.
  • Settings: Add an option to disable Better Roll when clicking on actions. System default will be used instead.
  • Cards: Powers with 0 power point cost now can call power point management.

Version 3.30 aka Nasty bugs

  • Refactoring: Use object data instead of functions to get a message related skill
  • Translations: Updates to the brazilian translation courtesy of the Weblate team.
  • Bug: Damage die from shortcuts weren't exploding.

Version 3.29, item active effects-

  • Verified in Foundry 11.301
  • Optional rules: New optional rule for heavy weapons doing gritty damage
  • Support the new way of working in SWADE 3.0 for skill active effects.

Version 3.28 aka v11

  • Support Foundry v11
  • Remove settings extender as dependency
  • Accept (unskilled) (with parenthesis) as a valid name for the unskilled skill
  • Refactoring: Move succ use to the new API.

Version 3.27 aka the end of v10

  • Bugfix: Grammar corrections on different places.
  • Cards: Use the new system key "system.attributes.vigor.soakBonus"
  • Damage: Multiple modifiers in damage calculation are now supported (Dan Brown)
  • Refactoring: Cards now show their id in the chat to be easier to find.
  • Translations: Updates from the Weblate team.
  • Bugfix: When exploding damage is disable also keep references like @str from exploding.
  • Refactoring: Removing unneeded parameters from functions and some general simplifications.

Version 3.26 aka portrait bug

  • Bugfix: Actor portrait was disappearing when opening groups.

Version 3.25 aka joker's bug

  • Bug: Solved a bug about making a trait roll from a card not directly linked to a token where joker was not detected correctly (mostly Laslo work, I just change a _ for a .)

Version 3.24 aka probably not worth releasing but the right click thing was making me uneasy

  • Sheets: Remove the use of the right click button to edit to make the new menu from system usable
  • Refactoring: Remove old code and various optimizations. Rely on the actions from the card class instead of reading the card HTML
  • Actions: Action groups are now sorted alphabetically. Please don't rush to rename your groups, soon another, more flexible, way of ordering will be available.
  • Refactoring: Start of the splitting of world actions into different files to make easier to add more.
  • Translations: German and Catalan updates from the weblate team.

Version 3.23 aka this was longer than I was expecting

  • Actions: Added the 'actor_value' selector that makes checking for any value in the actor object possible
  • Injury card: Added empty effects for arms and unmentionables.
  • Bugfix: Injury effects were not being passed correctly to Hooks.
  • Refactoring: Some code simplifications courtesy from Sorcery
  • Actions: Added text to differentiate normal ran from "Steady Hands" run
  • Translations: The weblate team added new translations.
  • Settings: Use new "Dumb Luck" setting from system instead of our own.
  • Weapon Actions: Added support for the new Heavy Weapon checkbox in item actions
  • Reloading: It is now using system code.
  • Bugfix: Shaken should be properly added when applying damage again.

Version 3.22 aka another round of bugfixes

  • Bugfix: Not adding Shaken to an Actor that becomes Incapacitated any more. (SalierC)
  • Status: Making Incapacitated status icon small and Bleeding Out overlay instead. (SalieriC)
  • API: Add a Hook 'brswReady' (TheLaslo)
  • Bugfix: Delay the render of the cards to avoid temporary errors in slow connections
  • Bugfix: Get json importing of world actions working again.
  • Cards: Don't show notes bigger than 50 characters on cards
  • Cards: Change how adding pp with 'shotsUsed' and overriding them work, so that addition is done after all the overrides

  • Actions: Make "shots_used" in power points addictive
  • Bugfix: Bennie rerolls use the same target than the original roll not the one currently targeted
  • Bugfix: Damage explosions are marked (changed to blue) correctly
  • Api: add_action now replaces world actions with the same id
  • Bugfix: When a modifier is a die show the results of each dice instead of the total

Version 3.20 aka Praying so nothing explodes too much

  • Cards: Collapse status of the action groups is now stored in the object and shared between users.
  • Cards: Selected actions are shared between clients.
