I propose to go beyond simple favorites like in Chrome and allow people to share their favorites (this makes sense for the latent web)

how it would work:

~~you can click on a star in a tab to add it to your private favorites~~ implemented!
~~a button can display the list of all your favorites (you can filter/search etc)~~ implemented!
~~for each favorite, there is a button to share it with the community~~ implemented!
we could also browse community favorites from here
a special domain to list all the popular community apps
