HDHomerun Live TV Channel Ordering

Software Versions

• Jellyfin Server Version: 10.9.1
• Roku Client Version: 2.0.7

Describe the bug

Live TV channel ordering does not work correctly for favourites defined by HDHomerun devices. Favourites appear at top of guide, but are in descending order and sort order changes does not affect this. Ordering ascending would at least be an improvement even if the order does not change when instructed.

How To Reproduce

0. Define favourite channels via HDHomerun config
1. Add HDHomerun tuner to Jellyfin server
2. View guide in Roku app
3. Observe favourites at the top of the guide (desirable) but in a curious order

Expected behavior

Order ascending or per guide settings

Connection Information

• Is server local or remote? Local
• Is server connection HTTP or HTTPS? http

Did this just start happening with server version 10.9.x or was this broken with 10.8.x as well?

From memory it was the same in 10.8 Sent from Gmail Mobile
