  • This issue is not already reported on GitHub (I've searched it).
  • I'm using an up to date version of Jellyfin Server stable, unstable or master; We generally do not support previous older versions. If possible, please update to the latest version before opening an issue.

  • This report addresses only a single issue; If you encounter multiple issues, kindly create separate reports for each one.

Description of the bug

Search feature works on Roku client except when I enter an Actor's name. No results.

To find info on an Actor the workaround is to search for movie they are in, click on the result, go down to Actors and click on the Actor.

Searching for Actor name works on Android and PC clients, just not on Roku client.

Reproduction steps

Have done this.

What is the current bug behavior?

No result for Actor searches.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Search for John Wayne should bring up his profile.
