tmux not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. typing tmux

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The tmux program with the red bar at the bottom.

Instead I see the screen cleared (good)
And 122 in the upper left corner

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Im using system 2.0. Since there hasn't been any updates.
I'm on an unrooted SGH-i527. Galaxy S4 mini It says in the status bar that an 
insecure process was stopped.

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem on my note 3 neo.

interestingly, if I connect to my phone via SSH using a computer, it will run 
tmux perfectly, even if tmux is not installed on the computer.


by the way, doesn`t work on a rooted Note 10.1 tablet either...
