What steps will reproduce the problem?
Run ssh <hostname> or run mc (others probably affected too)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Untill recently I got connected via ssh. But since my HTC M8 got a Lollipop
update, ssh command fails with the message "error: only position independent
executables (PIE) are supported"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC One M8 on Android 5.0.1

Please do not "Me too" an issue, that is what the Star is for.

Yes, you run Lollypop, congratulations. Can you also read? Because as stated in
the title of the Issue, and on this apps Google Play listing, this is a
Lollypop issue. Listing off the models of phone that run Lollypop does not help
anyone.

Hasn't been any progress on this issue, or is it abandoned? I still see this in
Android 5.0.2 (CY 12) on a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. This seems to have killed all my
scripts. Not even vi editor is working.
