A minkownski sum allows to compute an envelope from a solid translated along a path or a surface or a volume, this would greatly ease the generation of meshes for carters or parts interferences.

The minkowski sum operation can quite easily be augmented by the continuous transformation of one of its meshes. This would be usefull too.
