I've compiled a new AppImage for 2.2 and updated the script for making one at https://github.com/ChrisHobday/FasterProjectMAppImage, there is also some new helper scripts for adding the GC adapter rules and creating a desktop file.

The AppImage requires testing however, as I've only tested it on my own Arch system and without netplay. It also does not come with the sd card, elf files, or the icon.png, which means they will have to be included alongside a download of the AppImage.
