Question: Motivation behind this project

I was wondering what the reason was for building this is a separate plugin, and not include it in nvim-lspconfig? What is the reason we need all this extra lua code around the language server?

I would like to contribute to the C# + Neovim experience, but I haven't really went deep into how LSP's work so I have a hard time understanding why this language server needs so much extra wrapper-code compared to any other server configuration in nvim-lspconfig.
