I noticed in the behavior of the repeating tasks that if a repeated task hasn't been deleted or finished it will roll over, as well that if there are multiple days of the application not being opened it will create the repeated task for each day. With this behavior, it is required for the user to manually delete the repeating tasks that were not completed/deleted.
My suggestion is an option to control how repeated tasks are handled based on a series of conditions.
If the application has not been opened an option to disable repeated task creation for the unopened days.
If a repeated task has not been logged as time invested (Pomodoro) from a previous date then an option (prompt) to delete all repeated tasks along with the finish my day prompt.
If a repeated task has logged time an option to not create the same repeated task for any future dates. If the repeated task was not deleted/cleared.
And of course I'll tag on repeated tasks having sub-tasks repeated as well but I'm not the first to request this.
