Unable to join desired lanes for left or right turns in junctions

I am unable to join my desired lanes in a junction. Instead the tool is snapping the lane to the center and I don't know if its a technical issue or something regarding snap settings which I should turn off.

Currently snapping on the lane level is not supported. I've been thinking about adding this in the future, maybe as an additional junction connecting road tool or so. It is not super difficult but a lot of work because one has to make all the calculation to get all the lane center snapping points etc. I want to add this when I also add a traffic sign tool because the signs also need to be placed relative to a road and the tool for that will be technically similar.
