Hi team,

I noticed that Nx recently announced a new experiment feature that allows for releases and creation of changelogs, which seems to be a replacement for this plugin. As a result, I'm curious about the future of this plugin. Will this new feature affect the development of the plugin or will you continue working on the plugin to provide more options and variety to the Nx ecosystem?

In my opinion, having multiple options to choose from is always better than having just one. Therefore, I would love to see this plugin continue to be developed and improved, alongside the new experiment feature. This way, users can choose the tool that best fits their needs and preferences.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.

Best regards,
Diego

Hello,

We're planning to sync up with the Nx team to gain a deeper understanding of their vision for releases and to assess how semver aligns with the evolving landscape. Our commitment remains in ensuring users have the flexibility to choose the tool that seamlessly integrates with their workflows. While we'll continue maintaining the plugin to support our existing users, we'll also be developing migration scripts for those who wish to transition to the native Nx release.

Rest assured, we're dedicated to providing a smooth experience for our users, whether they choose to stick with the current plugin or explore the new Nx release.
