Every release should always have a tag. That can simply be the rule, as it makes the most sense--no need to do something weird in the history file i.m.o.
Been thinking about making the History --> GitHub release tool recently.
However, this won't work for versions that don't have tags. Should we put commit SHAs for releases in each history update?
