Hi,

i just found your V-Drum Explorer and as far as i can read from the docs you can only change kits with existing samples and instruments, right? I know you can import custom samples per-se, but these are just one shots and not multi-layer.
Would there be any possibility to incorporate the creation of custom multi-layer instruments with custom samples (i.e. from Superior Drummer)?
Does the format that Roland uses to store kits/instruments even allow such use?

Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what you mean, to be honest. Assuming you're on a suitable module (I don't know what module you have), you can create a trigger with a main instrument and a sub-instrument, and one or both of those can be samples.

(I don't know anything about Superior Drummer and how it uses samples, so I can't really speak to that I'm afraid.)

Fundamentally, if the module itself supports what you're trying to do through the main user interface, then it's likely that V-Drum Explorer supports it too (it can't do the actual import/export of samples, but it can use them). If you can't do it through the main user interface, it's unlikely that V-Drum Explorer will support it.
