Repeated chords

Hi,

I am trying to put the arrow keys on my home row. For instance, caps lock + j should result in left arrow. I have tried the following (with version 1.7.0 on Ubuntu 24.04):

(defchordsv2-experimental
  (caps j)   ◀   250   first-release   ()
)

This works the first time I press caps lock and j, however, when I keep caps lock pressed and repeatedly press j, I get j repeatedly instead of the left arrow key. (If I release both caps lock and j and press them again, I do get the desired left arrow key.) Is there a way to hold caps lock and repeatedly tap j to get repeated presses of the left arrow key?

Sorry, if this question is trivial. I'm very new to kanata.

BTW: I also tried

(defoverrides
  (caps j) (◀)
)

but this results in the error "override must contain exactly one input non-modifier key; found multiple". Furthermore, I tried

(defchords arrows 600
  (caps j)   ◀
)

but this gave me an error as well ("coord group arrows defines unused key caps, did you forget to bind (chord arrows caps)?").

For this use case you probably want caps to activate a new layer, perhaps within a tap-hold.
