Could be by making a standard group with the "brew essentials" and then make it you decide which profile (one of the default, or custom from somewhere, like a file) you want to install. That would make Talus much simple to modify without breaking something in the process.
And it would be nice if Talus can set up a SSH with a default key and proper template for a config file. 🎅🏻
P.S. Your README it's okay, but you assumed that whoever it's going to use it has already installed git. Sometimes that is enough to confuse someone or in the worst case they would be end up copy pasting each file if it's they first time setting up a Mac.
