I am also having this issue with Valorant, windows 11 pro with an Nvidia GPU. Vibrance GUI posts multiple desktop error alerts saying "Changing the resolution failed: DispChangeBadFlags" and forces my refresh rate from 300hz to 200hz, resolution stays the same (16:9 Default). I have checked previously submitted closed issues on Github and none of the listed solutions have worked for me. Thank you for developing Vibrance GUI!

First of all, if you do not want to switch resolutions using vibranceGUI at all, you can enable the Never change resolutions checkbox in the application.

If you really are using the built-in feature "Ingame Resolutions" in the game-specific configuration, then I have seen this issue once for recent monitors such as the LG 32GS95UE/LG 32GS95UX and ASUS PG32UCDP. They have a feature called "dual mode". The monitor let's you switch between 4k@240hz and 1080p@480hz using a button located on the monitor. The problem is that when you switch the mode, the monitor, the monitor suddenly reports other available display resolution and frequency combinations to the operating system. So as an example, in case you previously were using 4k@240hz on your Windows, then activate the dual mode, your monitor will switch to 1080p@480hz and the 4k@240hz resolution is not available anymore. Simply said, the monitor tells the operating system "i can run that resolution". I am afraid that this could be the reason why vibranceGUI then fails to work as intended.

What kind of monitor and graphics card combination are you using?
