CleanTabs works perfectly on Microsoft Edge, closing tabs automatically after a set time that I do not place in folders. I've been looking for an extension that has this functionality for sometime.

The extension ignores tabs that are pinned or in a tab group. In Microsoft Edge Workspaces, there is an option to Lock a tab. Is it possible to get the extension to also ignore tabs that have been locked?

It looks like Edge doesn't have any Workspace-related APIs.
