I was not able to find information about the license used for the source code. So as far as I know this means "all rights reserved" and it is not possible for anyone to modify it in a legal way.
So if you could release it under some open-source license it would be great! Thank you! :)
If it is not meant to be open source then of course that is to be respected also.
