Should we start counting from 1? Or should we call this 99 days or 101 days of code?

Day 0 is just the example text, or the day you decide to start the challenge and you do the forking of the repo and all the setup but don't have time to officially start.

The focus of the project is what you do, not how you do it. This repo is just to make it easier to you, not to tunnel you over some tools you don't want to use.

Not sure if it makes sense.
