Java 8 support, new relic http client

is Java 8 still supported by Kamon? based on this instruction, the answer is yes.

the support of JDK 8 dropped a while ago and most developers are using greater version.

I'm raising this topic, because I was thinking about switching new relic poster from okhttp to Java11's http client.

Java 8 is still supported and I don't think that dropping support for a Java version can be done as part of anything other than a major version change.... Arguably it's time to start building up such a release...

Folks, its time to drop support for Java 8 and Scala 2.11. This is not exactly the topic of this issue, but doing a little bit of work around the repo it feels like we first should get this done to trim a little bit of code from the repo and then continue fixing issues.
