"About Me" Image URLs Being Filtered, Markdown

What happened?

I was attempting to add an image to my "About Me" section since Bleh supports Markdown. Every time I try to save, however, the image link seems to be filtered and erased. Is there a way to workaround this? I have the necessary option enabled, which should allow Markdown links to appear. I've been trying for two hours now; I don't know what I'm missing.

are u reaching the max size for the bio? the counter is a lil wrong in release bleh atm but that might be the issue, maybe try adding it in the bio with bleh disabled to see if you get an error when hitting save.

unless its some link last.fm genuinely removes automatically but i doubt they would have the knowledge on how to set up such a filter based on the site's state

I wasn't reaching the max size. I've tried so many different things. I've tried using it on the main Last.fm website and the links disappeared after I saved. I tried in another browser and the same thing happened. I tried even changing the structure of the code, and it disappeared again.

I looked at other Last.fm profiles that use bleh, and I see they have images featured in their "About Me" sections, which made me all the more determined to make it work. But I'm simply at my wits' end now.

by main last.fm i assume u mean without bleh?, if so it must be on last.fm's end in that case which i cant help with

Yes, without bleh. I wasn't expecting the site to be able to block links in the "About Me," but here we are. It just makes me wonder how others were able to do it. I don't know if it was a recent update on Last.fm's end. Thanks for responding, though!

I'm pretty sure it's because your account is fairly new—I have the same issue. I don't know when Last.fm considers an account old enough to allow links in the bio, but it's definitely a weird limitation.

Thanks, I hadn't considered that. Being that the main site doesn't allow Markdown, anyway, I'm not sure why it would matter. It is, indeed, a weird limitation. I guess I'll try again in a month, or so.
