Thank you for reporting the issue.

Could you please specify --bind /foo (omit trailing slash) and see how it goes? I haven't use jailing that way, and I am not if just fixing mkdir_p is enough.

I can confirm this issue. Bind with suffix '/' causes an infinite loop.
