When I visit https://www.clips.ua.ac.be/pages/pattern, I found the website may be closed and this version may be discarded. So maybe just try pip install pattern.

Thanks for your answer. But when I installed it directly, it seems that there is no en module in pattern. Is there any other version conflict?

clips/pattern#337 maybe you can refer to this issue, it seems like pattern is wrong in pypi. Or just build from https://github.com/clips/pattern?

However, patternlib only supports Python 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8, while it seems that many packages in your environment require Python >= 3.9.

We believe the pattern package is only used in CHAIR evaluation, so if your task only involves generation, you can safely skip this package. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent issues with the pattern package (which seem to have arisen around December 2024).
