Research and plan how dependencies should behave in OwnChart. Currently dependencies are visual-only (finish-to-start arrows). Evaluate whether hard dependencies with automatic scheduling should be implemented.
Research Questions
- What do other Gantt apps do? (MS Project, GanttProject, TeamGantt, Instagantt, SVAR Gantt)
- Visual-only vs. hard dependencies with auto-scheduling
- Should linked tasks automatically shift when a predecessor changes?
- What dependency types are standard? (FS, SS, FF, SF)
- Impact on our drag-and-drop, undo/redo, and file format
