Hotkey doesn't work on M1 Mac Sequoia

Describe the bug
There's no way to activate the hotkey after updating

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Update Hex to latest version
2. press Hotkey (doesn't work)

Expected behavior
Recording to start.

Screenshots
Nothing happens! Hex is active. Restarting Hex doesn't work

Additional context
Hex was working beautifully until the update, now my hotkey doesn't work. Changing the hotkey doesn't help, nor does restarting Hex.

It was working fine with the previous version. I have a the updated the version and It doesn't recognize the hotkey to start dictating. I am using Mac Sequoia on an Intel base Mac with open core legacy.

I've been told by a few people that upgrading to Tahoe fixes this problem.

I tried about a million things to fix it on Sequoia, but I have no idea what broke it. This tag, I've been told, works on Sequoia. If not this one, an earlier one definitely should.

If you want, you can download it directly from here and opt out of updates, or of course, update to Tahoe, even though Liquid Glass has its own set of problems. Super sorry I broke it. I really have no idea what I did. 😅

I just upgraded to Tahoe so I could use the latest version of Hex.
Users: If and when you upgrade MacOS to Tahoe, FYI: It may seem at first like Hex's transcription isn't working anymore, that the blue icon just spins and spins but no translation appears. But wait, try again in 5 to 10 minutes. Seems it just needs a little time to get going after an OS Upgrade. After that, it's good.
