Recording popup doesn't appear when triggering hotkey on macOS #131

Bug Description
When pressing the configured hotkey, the Hex recording popup does not appear at all. The app appears to be running but does not respond to the hotkey trigger.
System Information
- macOS Version: Sequoia 15.6.1
- Mac Model: MacBook Air 13-inch, M4, 2025
- Hex Version: Latest version from README (v0.6.2)
Permissions Verified
- ✅ Accessibility permissions are enabled in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility
- ✅ Input Monitoring permissions are enabled in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring
- ✅ Tested unusual key combinations in TextEdit - they work correctly, confirming the system can detect key events
Expected Behavior
When pressing the configured hotkey, the Hex recording popup should appear, allowing voice recording to begin.
Actual Behavior
Pressing the hotkey does nothing - no recording popup appears, no visual feedback, no indication that the app detected the hotkey press.
Additional Context
This appears to be a hotkey detection issue specific to Hex. The system's accessibility features work correctly (unusual key combos trigger in TextEdit as expected), but Hex doesn't respond to its configured hotkey.
