Even though Iran has blocked most traffic through the Strait of Hormuz due to the ongoing conflict, they made a special exception for Indian-flagged ships. PM Modi had direct talks with the Iranian President, and the Iranian ambassador confirmed they're letting Indian vessels pass because they consider India a friend.
