Laggy World Map / main "Global Situation" module

Am I the only one whos got laggy world map? Ive got decent PC and it lags so much that I feel like Im using some 10 year old laptop

Im inclined to think It's due to improper implementation of DeckGL.

It's the layers on top of the map, not the actual map, if you have no layers, is it laggy too?
what browser / app are you on ?

Yeah of course gimme an hour and ill check it, I was using Desktop version

one more thing, when I wanted to download newest version it just opens my file explorer on documents folder and nothing else

On this video u can see that any other module works smoothly but when I try to use it just by scrolling and fast moving it is laggy, but when I click for long enough to drag it it works perfectly smooth somehow. And what more Live Event Pulse even dont show smoothly. I didnt update the app so far so maybe this bug is fixed like u said before so now ill update the app and see if it happens on newer version too.

Plus u could add some Loading screen in some cool looking design like whole app when it is opening everything can load without user noticing lag spikes too :D

okay I updated desktop version (had some problems while installing with node.exe file but when I clicked Ignore it worked) and it works the same but slighty smoother

how to turn requests slower
its like 10 secs doesnt work and unresponsive then works for 2 seconds

Something is wrong. Have been experiencing major lag also on a high end windows pc. Web on chrome is not updating intel feeds and news etc. Just installed v2.5.23 and got "Error opening file for writing: /sidecar/node/node.exe". Ignoring allows installation to continue, but all news says "no new news available".

UPDATE: the .exe installer gave the node error. .msi installer works with no error. News is not updating though and live intel not working. Performs the same, map very laggy.

Using worldmonitor.app in chrome on windows. Yes feeds do not update. Tried toggling browser local model but no luck. intel feeds, live intelligence, news, and telegram not updating, I need to refresh the page to get it to update. Not able to see any military aircraft, have tried toggling military activity layer on and off. Israel sirens do update live, video streams also working fine. Not sure whats going on.

Also installed desktop version and had same issues. Added opensky api key but military aircraft would not show on desktop either. And had same issues with map lag and feeds not updating.

@koala73 It is better now but for example Telegram intel updates come in batches where a bunch of sources all have the same timestamp. What is the update delays you have set for things? Live intelligence isn't working properly or reliably. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't. Map still very laggy when zooming and navigating. Map also still not showing any aircraft. Toggling military activity layer does nothing. Failure to load market data, commodities, sector data. It also appears if you don't have the browser and page open it won't update but that's probably a chrome thing. Also can't see navy ships now.

Sometimes features just don't work but I can refresh the page multiple times to get things like military activity layer and telegram intel to work. Still no military aircraft on map though.

Some things need a bit more bolts to work all the time - under the load. The service is much better today, and will keep improving. But your points are well noted
