Vertical sliding accordion with category list + project page integrated

Hello there,
I'm facing a desire that is getting more tricky than my knowledge, and so I'm asking now to you for a little help.

What I'd like to achieve is something similar to this http://tympanus.net/Development/VerticalSlidingAccordion/example5.html
Where the list represents Stacey's category-lists, and on the click of each stripe, the animation enlarge and shows the project-page of the relative project.

What I'm interested in is the animation + the integration between the project page, and the name in my category-lists.

I do have now the category list that shows projects in different stripes, but, of course, the animation part and putting the content of the project inside the element of the list, is not working out.

Do you have any idea about?
