I have automated the control of my humidifier (Philips HU1510) using a central humidity sensor. The built-in sensor on the humidifier is unreliable, likely because it’s positioned too close to the humidity source.
However, I’m encountering an issue: whenever I turn the device off, it emits a beep. I’ve confirmed via the Air+ app that the beep function is disabled, and I even toggled the setting on and off to ensure it was saved correctly. Despite this, every time the device powers down, the beep reactivates.
I am thinking of just opening the device and disabling the beep, but maybe there is something else I can try to fix this?
