Hello Kaitlin
I found your OF template tool and I like it. It works well.
And I have also a question: Is ist possible to do a calculation with dates and times in your template? I tried

                 `$DUE={{xy_day}}, {{xy_time} - 15 min`

and similar calculation ( - 00:15 or - 00.15 or - 00:15:00), but nothing worked. I only got xy_day, 00:00 in OF and not the new calculated time. The calculated time should be 15 minutes before the due date; e. g. if the due-date is 28.02.2023, 16:00 the calculated entry should be 28.02.2023, 15:45. (The date-notation is the German notation.)
Thanks for your help
Joe

@jjb53:

Hi Joe, in principle I would like this to work but I'm not sure that it does right now. There's some more work I need to do around date calculations at some stage which may help.

Theoretically, if you can type something in a particular format (including the maths) into the date field in OmniFocus then it should work. Your calculation, at least in my locale, doesn't work. (i.e. if I type something like "15/8, 3pm - 15 min" into the date field directly, I don't get the expected result.

In my quick experimentation, the first part of this (without the date math) isn't working correctly through the Templates plug-in either, though, at least for me in my locale. So perhaps there is a bug there, too.

Sorry I don't have a more helpful answer for you!
