Loading the default Kale notebook fails

Was just working through the default example - on loading the Titanic notebook, I get this message

Hey @aronchick, can you please let me know your current setup? Where are you running Kale? Is it MiniKF? Your own Kubeflow deployment? It would be also useful to see the contents of /home/jovyan/kale.log.

Note that we have recently moved our example to https://github.com/kubeflow-kale/kale/tree/master/examples, we will probably archive this repo
