Hi,
We had an issue with node-local-dns-cache on one of the nodes running in our production AWS EKS cluster. Although the issue was fixed by draining the node, we still want to know the root cause since it affected our production environment and we had 0.1% API error rate because of this issue. Also, it was unclear why it affected just a single node.
The application logs were giving out these errors
Connection error Errno::ECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer - SSL_connect
The node-local-dns-cache pod on that node had the following kind of errors
There was no more information/logs except the above to really understand the root cause.
Does anyone have any insights on what went wrong?
Thanks!
node-local-dens-version: 2.0.3
kubernetes version: 1.27
