Just a note to clarify the status of this plugin. Currently it is not actively developed and it's not clear if development will resume on it. It's possible that Joplin will provide sharing and collaboration features via a different route. So while the plugin might work it's recommended not to rely on it too much.

It's not been updated to Nextcloud 19 support which is how I landed here. Worth clarifying here if it is possible to use Joplin clients and Nextcloud without this plugin. Hesitant to upgrade to Nextcloud 19 until we know.

AFAIK joplin-nextcloud is a Web API, possibly useful to share access to (some of ) your notes via Nextcloud to other users.

It is not needed for Joplin clients to store their data in Nexctloud - they use standard WebDAV.

You can use the WEBDAV protocol instead of the NC App.
