Hello colleagues,
We believe we have found a potential issue in the plug‑in, but we cannot clearly determine where exactly it occurs.
Initial Situation:
We configure a workflow with the triggers “Last Access” and “Categories.”
- In Categories, we restrict the selection to a specific course category.
- In Last Access, we select an appropriate value (x days).
- In the Course Selection step, a total of 6 courses are identified, which is expected based on the configuration.
After this, we add an email step.
Across these 6 courses, the teaching assignments are as follows:
- Two courses with two teachers each
- Three courses with the same set of teachers
- One course with one teacher
Expected Behavior:
We would expect all teachers in the affected courses to receive an email.
Actual Behavior:
When we run the workflow with the default settings, only one single teacher receives an email.
When we limit the setting “Maximum courses triggered per cron” to 1, the system sends six emails.
This is understandable since each course is then processed separately. However, even in this case, not all teachers of a given course are notified.
This leads us to the following questions:
Is this the intended behavior?
According to which criteria is the teacher selected who receives the email?
We have confirmed that no other workflows are active and no delays have been configured in the system.
While we cannot rule out the possibility of a configuration mistake on our side, we currently do not know how to further narrow down or identify the root cause.
Kind regards
