Question about Laragon Non-Commercial license - Standard

Hi - I'm looking at the Laragon Non-Commercial license - Standard on this site:

This licence: Laragon Non-Commercial license - Standard says:

• License Type: Perpetual (Lifetime) Non-Commercial License – Allows indefinite use for personal, educational, or non-commercial purposes only.
• Updates: 1 year of free updates

If it's a lifetime Non Commercial license, but then there is 1 year of free updates - how does that work?

Would I need to pay for a new Non Commercial license each year in order to be able to update Laragon?

Unlike a subscription model, Laragon's license does not require yearly payments.
When you purchase a license, you receive updates for one year. After that period, you can continue using your current version of Laragon indefinitely without any additional cost.

If you wish to receive future updates beyond the first year (Standard) or five years (Extended), you have the option to purchase an update.

Note: The Non-Commercial license is offered at an affordable price for personal and non-commercial use. If you intend to use Laragon for commercial purposes, a Commercial license is required. This approach helps ensure the long-term sustainability of Laragon.
