I've been trying to download my playlist songs using third-party external downloaders. Until yesterday, I couldn't find a reliable way to download all my songs from the playlist. However, after discussing with the developer of yt-dlp, they introduced an option to use direct links instead of the playlist, which technically solves the problem.
Now, we can download all our playlist videos as we wish. However, I encountered an issue: since LibreTube passes the YouTube link, it is restricted by geo-location. As a result, geo-restricted videos cannot be downloaded.
To solve this, we could have an option to use piped links for downloads, which removes the geo-location problem. Yt-dlp also supports direct download using piped links.
This feature would be a significant improvement for users facing geo-restriction issues.
Note: its not works like that even though we pass pipe link it still fetch using YouTube so it not possible without natively add support or using vpn.
