Old Android versions as Android 5 are not properly supported by LibreTube and there are no plans to do so in the future. Using the app on such an old Android version is at your own risk. |

This will provide a better alternative to the en_shaw directory when your language is set to english. What happens is that on older Android devices the values-en directory cannot be found (because it's not there), so it selects the b_en+Shaw resource directory if the language of your device is set to english. The strings in here contain characters that are not installed on the device in question. The missing system font is causing the boxes. The translation doesn't seem to be used anywhere. Why is it even there? |

A similar issue exists but is closed.
You can reproduce this in Android Studio in Android 5 Virtual Device.
I tried If somehow it can be fixed. While messing around with source code in Android Studio
I found that it can be fixed by adding english language string.
Please fix it.
