Another ticket revealed that the script wasn't working when run on rPi as the builder platform. This wouldn't be immediately obvious to someone not familiar with the process

Add a validation step which checks the partition alignments and restore UUID/PARTUUID between /etc/fstab and /boot/cmdline.txt
