Research alternative technical solutions

The fact that Microsoft Access is only available on Windows may limit the audience of this project. Access has been really great for prototyping and managing, but I think it's also the time to research alternative technical solutions.

The main drawbacks are:

• Windows only.
• May encounter into storage/integrity issues when storing a large number of electronic invoices.
• Hard to version control (see other tickets also).
• VBA is generally uncomfortable to work with.
