Hi Job, I think they can be useful, especially as the meaning of the colours is specified. Furthermore, it makes me think of when skewdness tests fail, I.e. If you get to more than 200 measurements these test will always say your distribution is skewed and hence, its better to look whether the bar plot looks really skewed.
... I'd have to get a better grasp at what skewness means first though.
