There are a lot of maps out there that are configured to the old "norm". Why change position of the caption on load? The "why not" is in the same category as "broken links" - changes have repercussions. They also have to be spotted, long after the map was configured!

The caption size on-load differs from invoking it from "i". Unlike the position over the map, there doesn't seem to be a workaround to cope with the new "norm". The caption text is usually organised to say enough to strangers to our maps, not all of them see the scroll bar, yes it is obvious, but not to my audience always, they tell me..
They just want it to tell them. We have to work the feature as offered to us. Or..........

Maybe suggest an addition to control the caption size (eg) on load, &/or the position. One more suggested requirement amongst many!
