Firebase registration process not completed

I followed steps to register new user using firebase and
when i click on the register button no thing happens and user not added in firebase.
this message displayed:

I had the same issue. What you need to do is to update the Google Play Services from the android studio emulator, but first you need to log in with a Google account on the android virtual device only after that can you proceed to update Google Play Services.
