This project file is outdated, wasted my 2 hours. so embarrassing.

It's not outdates you have to get it's dependencies and Pub get it, so it automatically updates all it's files

Can you explain this in a bit detail.
The package audioplayers is incompatible according to me. I myself have spent hours for the upgrading process for which a link is given in terminal.
But even after changing all the lines in the files, it still gives some androidX incompatibility.
