Problem
Instructors need a clean, in-place experience to run and act on AI consistency checks while editing.
Outcome
From the editor, instructors can run a check, review issues in a focused surface, and take next steps (resolve, jump to location), without noise.
Primary flows
From editor statusbar → "Check consistency" → loading → issues appear in a modal/popover; clicking one of the issue's locations jumps to to correct location.
Acceptance criteria
Dependencies
Links to inline comments / collaboration initiative so issues can evolve into review threads. You referenced consolidation with #10969 ("Inline Comments for Exercise Collaboration") - the UX should align so consistency findings can become/relate to inline comments.
Non-goals (now)
Threaded review conversations; consolidating with review comments UIs; auto-apply fixes.
Open questions
Exact action set for each consistency issue: "Resolve", "Mark as correct", "Mark as incorrect", "Confirm", "Delete"?
