Short Bio

Fascinated by dynamic systems, their properties and designs, I aim at translating these concepts into software structures that are robust, scalable, flexible and easily portable. This creative approach is augmented by a problem solving mentality resulting from 10 years of experience in the various parts of IT.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, building on top of a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace Technology. I'm capable of working with a full range of technologies, from enterprise-scale database systems, network and firewall technology to software agents and artificial intelligence.

I've lived and worked in the Netherlands, but I consider myself cosmopolitan. This is a small world and we need to share it with 7 Billion others. Borders are there to create some organisational structure, but they should not be "overdone"...

Currently I'm working at Almende B.V., having been part of the Almende group for 4 years while working at ASK Community Systems B.V.
At Almende I focuss on human-computer interaction, on the way software agents interact with humans.
