In the config there is options for icon replacement, is that a thing or is that going to be added in the future?

It's planned. There was a problem with it, but there's an idea on how to fix it.

I have implemented the Icons functionality, but it's disabled for now because of other issues.

I also want to have icons so we can change the icons easily or automatically.

I think I'll just enable it in the next version, or make it configurable.
