Blank goal view, "failed to show goal error" after multi device sync

I use writing goals in one Vault that I open on both my PC and laptop. Everytime I switch devices, the goal view will be blank and empty (for both devices after that) and updates or changes to writing goals will cause a "failed to show goal for file xyz" error message. Re-installing rectifies this, but gets tedious fast. I totally love the plugin, any chance this can be fixed?
